Easy Dunkaroo Dip (Adult “Drunkaroos”)

Our favorite old school sprinkled snack Dunkaroo dip is back with this new boozy homemade version. Add in some vodka for adult drunkaroos and you’ve got the best party dip with that 90’s nostalgic charm.

I just love an easy desert recipe, everything from Oreo cheesecakes to chocolate dump cake– if it’s easy to make, I’m all about it! We often make this Drunkaroo Dip with boozy Birthday Cake Shots.

I was at a friend’s party reminiscing about 90’s snacks after she introduced me to her favorite Tik Tok “drunkaroo” dip.

She listed off the ingredients and I vowed to make it part of my recipe repertoire!

So, I got to work and developed my own, easier version of this infamous recipe. My own take removes the yogurt and instead adds in instant pudding.

I’ve seen this recipe made so many different ways. Mine is made with only 4 main ingredients. Here’s what I use:

• A box Funfetti cake mix
• snack pack puddings
• a tub of cool whip
• vodka to taste
• extra spinkles

And, of course, Dunkaroo dip isn’t complete without the sweet crackers.

• animal crackers
• graham crackers
• vanilla wafers
• oreos
• Biscoff
• pretzels

What are Dunkaroos?

Dunkaroos were a popular snack for kiddos back in the 90’s, myself included.

These snacks came in a pouch and included cookies with a majestic little icing for dipping. Needless to say, children were crazy about them!

How do I store this dip?

Store in a refrigerated container, without adding any alcohol, for up to 5 days.

Can I omit the vodka? Or add other alcohol?

You can use vodka or rum for this recipe. And if you’re not drinking, leave out the alcohol and serve at children’s parties.

What can I use instead of sprinkles?

If you don’t have sprinkles on hand, but have cookies, crumble those and add to the dip instead.

Can I use other cake mix?

Sure, I recommend Funfetti, buttercream, or strawberry cake mix for this recipe.
