add cinnamon to a bowl of melted butter
mix
add bananas to foil-lined air fryer basket
brush on the cinnamon butter
top with granulated white or brown sugar

Equipment

  • Air fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas ripe
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar or coarse sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • slice each banana in half, lengthwise
  • in a small bowl, mix cinnamon and melted butter together
  • add 2 banana halves to your air fryer basket
  • brush cinnamon butter mixture over each banana
  • air fry for 6 minutes at 370°F. Add 2 additional minutes to cook time for extra soft / caramelized banana.

Notes

bananas are best served right away
you may substitute brown sugar for white, granulated sugar
also try this recipe with plantains!
